We are now open with a brand new look after a big refurbishment!

The Hogshead in Newport is a warm and inviting pub, with a traditional theme running throughout, enhanced by not only our ‘olde’-style blackboards for advertising great deals and weekly line-ups, but also our candle-lit tables and much-loved relaxing open fire.

It has a welcoming atmosphere, adaptable to suit any time of day or event, including our regular live music and all major sports fixtures, shown on the biggest screens in town. We have a resident DJ taking all of your requests every Friday and our famous Saturday theme nights including an 80s, 90s & 00s night.

Our beer garden is the latest addition to our pub which is situated at the rear and provides a gorgeous suntrap.
